Barleylands Farm Park Lambing Live
Location : Barleylands Rd, Billericay CM11 2UD
This February half term, join us for Lambing Live. Our farmers will be on hand to answer all your questions regarding our adorable new borns plus there will be interactive talks about shepherding and much more.
You’ll also be able to get up close with the newborn animals. There will be craft and a sheep themed trail to follow too.
As well as all your other farm favourites including:
Feeding, birds of prey talks, tractor rides, soft play, nocturnal room, reptile house, farm museum, walk through aviary, shooting cannons and much more!

Colchester Zoo Zooper Heroes

Throughout February Half Term, we will be celebrating the Zooper Heroes at Colchester Zoo and their role in looking after our animals here and saving species in the wild!
From the Animal Care Team who care for our animals to researchers, educators and record keepers, come and find out about our Zooper Heroes at Colchester Zoo. Grab your little one’s cape and boots this half term and watch as your child becomes a wildlife hero and joins the fight against extinction!

Hylands House Events
Location : Hylands Estate, Chelmsford, Essex, CM2 8WQ
18th February – Hylands Open Estate Day – Join them in the Drawing Room for storytelling by Mike Dodsworth at 10:30am 11:30am, 12:30pm and 2pm in the Drawing Room.
Visit the Library to read more about Weddings and Royal Visits with the social history exhibition. They’ll be in the Banqueting Room making your own Royal characters, as well as ‘lovingly’ making some Valentines themed paper crafts.
24th & 25th February – Beginners’ Stained Glass Workshop – Spend a fun day learning a new skill and creating your own stained glass project with Hylands Artist Mona Marnell. The day runs from 10.00am to 5.00pm and starts with Mona teaching you how to cut glass safely.
Then, having picked your pattern and the glass you want to use, Mona will guide you through the cutting, copper-foiling and soldering processes so by the end of the day you have made a beautiful stained glass creation.

Old MacDonalds Farm Singing Princesses
