Dining Reservations For A Birthday At Disneyland Paris

One of the best ways to make a Disneyland Paris visit extra special is a fantastic dining experience.

Even if you do nothing else to enhance your time at Disneyland Paris, an extravagant meal at one of the resort’s fine dining restaurants makes sure that “birthday someone” feel extra special and has an amazing time, maybe consider a Mickey or Minnie Celebration Cake or have one of your favourite characters, to celebrate the special occasion

When it comes to a table service restaurant, you don’t want to leave anything to chance, especially on somebody’s birthday. When it comes to a table service dining reservation, you will want to plan ahead! Ensure you secure your booking with a reservation.

It doesn’t matter if you’re dining at Walt’s – An American Restaurant, Auberge de Cendrillon or Pym’s Test Kitchen. Check to see if the restaurant you choose takes reservations and secure your table. Then make your dinner reservations as soon as you can… even the buffet restaurants get busy, so to ensure everything runs smoothly, you may want to check if you can get a table reserved there too.

Advance reservations are highly recommended and can be made up to 2 months prior to your arrival date. Just make a reservation on the app, call the Dining Reservation Service on +33 1 60 30 40 50 (international call rates apply, cost may vary according to network). Then you can relax knowing that special someone can have a fabulous birthday, with beloved Disney Characters and Cast Members joining together to wish them a happy birthday.

If you have a Jack Sparrow fan in the family, maybe consider a Pirates of the Caribbean themed day, or if you have a Star Wars fan, take a ride on Star Tours and Star Wars Hyperspace Mountain.

Show Reservations

Once you have your dining secured, you can also reserve certain shows you want to see. This is just an additional way for birthday celebrations to go even more smoothly.

Shows, where you can secure your seat, include The Lion King Show and Mickey and the Magician entry is included with your park ticket but not guaranteed because space is limited. So securing a seat is wise if watching the shows is on the birthday guest’s to-do list.

DIY Scavenger Hunt

Disneyland Paris doesn’t have any official celebration activities for you to participate in on your birthday. However, it is a good opportunity to play your own games using the parks as inspiration.

Try and stump the birthday boy or girl with trivia questions for a scavenger hunt. Or, plot out your day and give clues about where you’re going next. You can even try to take pictures with all the Disney Characters

Go on a Disney Merchandise shopping spree. There are all kinds of ways to create a fun do it yourself game or activity to make being in the park even more memorable!

Extra Magic Time

As you probably know, Disney hotel guests already enjoy some extra perks. One of the best ones is Extra Magic Time which is pretty much what it sounds like.

Extra Magic Time is early access to certain areas of Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park.

This perk comes included for each day of your stay and it means early access to attractions and character locations before the park’s official opening time.

When you can take advantage of Extra Magic Time, that means you can start the day in either park on the right foot and celebrate more while you are there.

PhotoPass+

Another way to ensure those magical birthday memories is to buy a PhotoPass. PhotoPass is the only way to gain access to certain types of pictures such as attraction photos and Magic Shots.

Purchase Disney PhotoPass+ to collect all your souvenir photos on 1 card! Every photo captured of you and your group is yours to keep, whether it’s by a Disney photographer or on certain attractions with an image capture system.

Present your PhotoPass+ card to the Disney photographer or at the exit of an attraction, to make sure your high quality digital image files are correctly saved onto your card.

You can purchase PhotoPass+ in advance when you book a Hotel + Tickets package, or at certain boutiques throughout the Parks and Hotels during your trip. The card is valid for 10 days from date of purchase (or collection from the boutique if you purchase in advance).

All your images will be available to download for 1 year.

Where To Stay To Celebrate Your Birthday

If you are going to Disneyland Paris to celebrate a birthday and they have a favourite Disney Character, you may want to consider a hotel to compliment that

Marvel Fans will obviously enjoy staying at the Hotel New York: The Art of Marvel, for unique character experiences and Marvel themed decor.

Pixar fans may like Disney’s Hotel Cheyenne with its rootin’ tootin’ Sheriff Woody themed rooms, or Hotel Santa Fe which is inspired by Cars.

If you have a Disney princesses fan, then you may want to have a royally special stay at the Disneyland Hotel

If they love the outdoors and Bambi, you could check out Sequoia Lodge.

If you are looking for an outdoors theme slightly out of the way and you are considering driving, then definitely take a look at Davy Crockett Ranch.
