Norwich Lights Switch On
Date : Thursday 16th November 2023
Fun-filled Evening Planned for Norwich’s Festive Lights Switch-On
Traditionally it is THE event in Norwich which gets the city off to a sparkly start in the run-up to the Christmas season – and this year’s Festive Lights Switch-On is no different.
This year’s free celebratory family event takes place on Thursday 16 November and will offer live song and dance entertainment, the magic of the lights being switched on and a visit from Father Christmas, along with several other exciting surprises to be announced.

Holt Lights Switch On
Date : Friday 17th November 2023
Holt and the community welcomes thousands to the official switch-on of Holt Christmas Lights.
Live entertainment from The Austin Beats and Cromer Pier Christmas Show MC, Olly Day, street food, Adnams Bar, craft market traders, official switch on, Norwich City Pipers and a firework spectacular are all on offer.

Gorleston Lights Switch On
Date : Sunday 19th November 2023
The Gorleston Christmas Lights Switch On event will take place on Sunday 19 November, along Gorleston High Street.
Festivities will start from noon with the lights switch on at 5pm and a spectacular firework display at 6pm

Aylsham Lights Switch On
Date : Friday 24th November 2023
Our Christmas lights switch on event will take place on Friday 24th November 2023. Stalls in the Market Place, Town Hall and Red Lion Street will open at 5pm with the lights switch on at 6pm.
There will be live music from Bill Downs, performances by Aylsham High School students and Vocalights Choir.
Santa will be in his new grotto located in the Green Room at the Town Hall, accessible via The Loke.
Food & drink stalls on the night and refreshments being served from the kitchen in the Town Hall.
Our special Letter to Santa letterbox will be open on the night, so get your letters written ready for posting (no stamp required).
A number of the local shops will be open late to look round and the Christmas Tree Festival will be in St Michael’s Church.

Fakenham Lights Switch On
Date : Saturday 2nd December 2023
Join us for our annual Christmas Craft Fayre.
We celebrate local craft businesses and food vendors as well as the wonderful businesses in Fakenham. Craft Fayre from 10am.
Entertainment from around 1pm and celebrate the Christmas Lights being switched on around 6pm. (Timings to be confirmed soon!)
This event is FREE to the whole community. As a small community group, our aim is to host events that are fun for the whole community and accessible for all. Fakenham is a wonderful community and we enjoy bringing you all together

Watton Lights Switch On

Watton Town Council will be hosting the annual Watton Festive Market on the High Street. Lots of festive stalls, family entertainment and of course the Town Christmas Lights Switch on.
Santa will be there, free to visit and all children will receive a small gift, there will also be free face painting and entertainment.

Great Yarmouth Lights Switch On
Date : Friday 24th November 2023
The Great Yarmouth Christmas Light Switch-On is planned for Friday November 24th to coincide with the first day of the Great Yarmouth Christmas Fayre and Christmas Market.
Harbour Radio are presenting the live music and entertainment from the unique double-decker bus stage in the market place from 5pm.
The Switch-On by Her Worship the Mayor and special guests will take place at 7pm and will be followed by a firework display fired from the roof top of Market Gates shopping centre. Many shops and stalls will remain open until 8pm.

Step into a Continental Christmas with a range of food and gift stalls along King Street. From Christmas crafts to winter scarves, there will be something for everyone.
Thetford’s Christmas Lights Switch On will be taking place at 6:30pm on Friday 1st December 2023, on the Marketplace, with some special magical guests.
There will be a weekend of Christmas events and Markets, transforming the town centre into a festive feast for the eyes.

Swaffham Town Council will be hosting a fantastically festive Christmas light switch on event on Sunday 3 December between 10-5pm.
There will be a Christmas market with a variety of craft and food stalls, a funfair as well as entertainment from Fakenham Town Band.
Santa is looking forward to meeting children and their families in the Grotto held in the Assembly Rooms between 10-5pm, booking to follow in due course.
