October Half term is slightly earlier this year in Essex, meaning Halloween doesn’t fall within the week off.

Audley End Miniature Railway Halloween
Location : Audley End Road, Audley End, Saffron Walden CB11 4JB
We ask that you arrive half an hour before your ticket time. Your ticket time is the time of your train. This will allow you a chance to park and take the short walk to the station and get checked in.
Our Station Master will board you onto the train, before you venture deep into the woods, where you will arrive at the witches’ house and be greeted by the coven of witches together with some family favourite Halloween characters.
Once you’ve arrived at the scare school, deep in the forest, the witches and their playful friends will entertain you, cackling, chanting spells around their cauldron, teaching you all how to trick and treat, before giving everyone a special gift.
After your train journey, you can walk into the woods to our Craft Cabin, where you will be able to make a spell bag to take home. Then, walk through our autumn Fairy and Elf Walk, where the fairies and elves have decorated their houses with Halloween decorations.
Finally, you will visit our Magicians dwelling. Here, you will meet our Magician, William, the king of the woods. He will need your help performing his spook-tacular magic tricks.

Barleylands Halloween Spooky Nights
