October Half Term in Norfolk this year runs from Saturday 24th October – Sunday 1st November, so all of the local attractions will be offering a Halloween Theme, so if you are looking for somewhere to go this half term check out these Great Yarmouth Halloween Events.

Hippodrome Halloween Spooktacular

It’s nearly time for the ultimate spooky experience with the BRAND NEW show for 2020 The Halloween Spooktacular opens on 22nd October until 1st November. A whole new adventure has been written by comedy partnership and Hippodrome favourites Jack Jay and Johnny Mac. They will be joined by an amazing cast of international acts. So If you’re ready to get spooky with your friends and family then make sure you book soon as this show is only on for a limited run of 11 days only!

Pleasurebeach Fairground Fright Nights

BRAND NEW This Halloween Great Yarmouth Pleasurebeach is bringing the Frights to the Fairground, with live actors, pumpkin carving, fancy dress competitions as well as many other surprises and scares and there will be competitions each night for the best dressed Halloween costume, so get your best halloween costume at the ready!

There are four Fright Nights running consecutively from Wednesday 28th October to Saturday 31st October. Each Fright Night will begin at 5pm and finish at 8pm. We advise to arrive early to maximize your time / experience. Tickets cost £17.00 per person per Fright Night

It is strongly recommended to book online in advance. Tickets are limited for each night (like other sessions it is operated at a limited capacity due to social distancing) and anyone under the age of 12 will need to be accompanied. It is not recommended anyone under the age of 5 attends these events as Fright Nights are designed to scare. Admission tickets can be booked here

Hirstys Halloween Hoot

Head to Hirsty’s Family Fun Park to pick and carve a pumpkin and there is also a mega maize maze to explore and a Halloween quiz. Masks must be worn in the café and guests are advised to keep two metres apart from other groups as much as possible. There are also Halloween drive-in cinema screenings taking place later this month, including Hocus Pocus, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Ghostbusters, and you can buy tickets at Outdoor Cinema Live

Pleasurewood Chills

Just across the border, Pleasurewood Hills theme park will have Halloween-themed surprises that will make you scream at more than just the rides.

There are over 35 rides, shows and attractions to enjoy and there will also be spooky fun for all the family

Roarr Dinosaur Adventure

Roarr’s popular Halloween Days event returns between 24th October and 1st November.

Dippy and his friends are busy preparing for some spooky fun across the park! Join Vincent the Vampire at the Graveyard for some spooky Halloween tales and begin your quest with the Dinomite gang – to follow the clues to find out whether or not there is a Werewolf in the woods! In Dippy-ville, guests can enjoy individual craft tables to create some Halloween Witch Crafts with Bobble-de-boop the Witch (1 per child).

Guests can also take on the trail to find the Blue Skeleton Parts – where a Halloween prize can be won. They will be running their usual social media competition too – tag them in your photos and the best one will be chosen at the end of the event.

You can also expect some Dippy Disco Dancing and The Dippy Show – during the live entertainment schedule.

Their inclusive days will see a Mobiloo at the Park on Tuesday 27th – Thursday 29th October.

Be quick to book – limited guest numbers will again be in operation.

The Twiggles and Boggles are so excited to have the opportunity to put on a brand new Glorious Glowing Lantern Parade. Not only will it follow a soopa spangly new route, through parts of the woodland that the public haven’t had a chance to explore before, but they are also working hard to sprinkle plenty of extra giggle dust and magic on the parade with new lights, sounds and experiences.

See the park in a new light and watch the story unfold as you journey through the woods. A magical adventure for Boggles who are neither brave nor bold! (It’s spooky, not scary!)

The Parade has scheduled time slots and is a separate ticketed event. Tickets need to be booked online but some may be available on the day if space allows. If visitors wish to join us in the day and in the evening, they will need to make two separate bookings. Tickets to this event are £7.50 each (under 92cm and carers are freeee!)

This event runs 22nd October – 1st November 2020.

Sealife A-Scarium

Explore the seas with this fin-tastically frightening activity trail, you get to see all of your favourite sea creatures with some ‘spooky’ additions, play detective as you use your magnifying glass to locate the ten spooky letters hidden around the Sealife to complete the puzzle, and work out the missing word from the spell to claim your prize.

Wroxham Barns Pumpkin Festival

Wroxham Barns Pumpkin Festival is back for another year. Tickets include unlimited access to Junior Farm & The Fun Park, plus a FREE Pumpkin for every paying child, along with spell and potion school with Wilma the Witch!

Things are slightly different to ensure everyone’s safety, booking MUST be done online where you can choose your arrival time.

Certain indoor areas are not open currently, including the Indoor Play and Goat Barn, Wilma the Witch will be in a large Barn, there’s a new Guinea Pig Village to visit, the Goats have moved into a paddock and there are new animals including, Cows and Runner Ducks

During your visit to the Junior Farm & Fun Park Pumpkin Festival you can collect your FREE Pumpkin for each paying child from the Pumpkin Patch, carve it in the Carving Barn where there are lots of hands-on activities as well as attend Wilma The Witch’s potion school. Remember the tickets also include all the fun of the Farm PLUS the Fun Park.

All the children get to pick a pumpkin from the pumpkin patch, then using a little wheelbarrow take it to the carving area, where the carving team will help you with your masterpiece.

Daily shows with Maxi Mouse and Andy The Clown will take place, and you can also enjoy all of the rides and meeting the animals.

Adult £14.50, child (2-15) £14, under-2s free, senior citizen/disabled/carers £12.50

The Lost World Adventure Golf Pumpkin Challenge

Take the Pumpkin Challenge!
Our Pumpkins are sprouting up all over the course at the Lost World Golf.
All children playing Minigolf who guess the correct number receive an extra treat.
Open every day 10am – 7pm, 23rd – 31st October (10am- 5pm Sunday 1st November)
And Madison’s will be open every day for coffees, hot chocolate, freshly cooked donuts, waffles & crepes.
