Fairhaven Christmas Lights Walk

Enjoy the magic of the gardens after dark, lit up by glowing Christmas lights. Follow our lights trail around the gardens and spot the hidden twinkles through the trees.
From the Sensory garden to the crocodile walk, you´ll get the sense of Christmas come early and get that seasonal tingle of excitement.
Finish up with a warm cup of Hot Chocolate or a lovely mulled wine to sip under the Lights in the picnic area. Maybe even grab a marshmallow to toast on our fire pit. (Parental assistance required).
The lights will be on but feel free to bring a torch if you have one.
The inside of the tearoom will only be available for the toilets. Service will be from the outside window only.

Helmingham Hall Illuminated Garden Trail

Make the most of the dark winter nights by stepping into a magical world of light, colour and sound, as you explore the grounds of Helmingham Hall adorned with thousands of lights transforming the gardens into an enchanted winter wonderland.
An unmissable event to start off the festive season! Begin the trail by crossing Helmingham Hall’s famous drawbridge (pulled up every night since 1510) and warming up with a complimentary mulled wine within the courtyard steeped in over 500 years of historical charm.
Continue through the gardens absorbing the magical sights and sounds, gather around the fire pits to toast marshmallows for s’mores, and end the evening browsing the Stables Shops and mini Christmas market where you will be able to find lots of wonderful gifts and festive treats!
The trail runs from Thursday 16th November 2023 to Sunday 17th December 2023.

Ickworth Light Nights

Spend an evening wandering through paths lined by willow woven animal sculptures and be transported into a Victorian-esque gothic Stumpery before marvelling at this Italianate palace.
Showcasing this home of great art, this year is the first they are lighting the front of the Rotunda, illuminating it not only for visitors to admire the building’s impressive façade but the North Lawn and vast Cedar meadow it overlooks.
The trail is a celebration of Ickworth’s outdoors, encouraging you to see the estate in a new light and draw attention to places you may have previously overlooked.
In 2023/24, they are celebrating the creative innovation that inspired the Earl Bishop’s visions for Ickworth Estate.

North Norfolk Railway Norfolk Lights Express

The Norfolk Lights Express is an immersive, wintertime experience that is fun for the whole family!
Arrive after dark at Sheringham Station and you’ll be greeted by the magical sight of a steam hauled train illuminated by thousands of tiny lights.
The Old Luggage Office buffet will be open for you to purchase hot soup, hot drinks, alcoholic beverages, soft drinks, delicious homemade cakes and savoury refreshments.
Since its debut in 2019, The Norfolk Lights Express has become firmly established as a favourite seasonal treat.
As your train steams from Sheringham to Holt and back, you’ll pass a series of colourful, lit-up dioramas and literally see the countryside adjoining the track in a whole new light as the on board lights shine on the scenery in a series of changing colours.
